Hosted by the AI4Good Lab Headquarters team.
Stationed in Montreal, Headquarters runs the Montreal regional program and organizes expansion across Canada.
History of the Montreal Program.
Professor Doina Precup and Angelique Mannella founded the Lab in Montreal as a direct response to the lack of diversity in the AI industry. Since 2017, the Montreal Program has trained over 130 women with the skills to start their careers, succeed in leadership roles, and work towards a more inclusive tech culture. The Montreal program welcomes 30 participants each year.

Discover the AI Ecosystem in Quebec.
With significant government and private investment, Quebec is a competitive centre for innovation and technology in Canada. Explore the unique cultural offerings of Montreal and get to know the local tech community.
Different regions, one Lab.
Like different classes for the same course, the regional programs all offer the same core education while showcasing the vibrant local identity of each AI community. Whether you join us from Montreal, Edmonton, or Toronto, the skills and network you gain at the Lab will kickstart your journey into AI.

“The Lab is one of the best opportunities I've had in my life. I learned so much not only about AI, machine learning and the industry but also about myself. The connections made and the bonds formed with the other participants will be preciously kept for a long time.”
